Year Walk Review
Yet another title on my list of “thanks, Steam Summer Sale,” Year Walk is an adventure horror puzzle title. Luckily, the “horror” part of it isn’t too overwhelming, and I was still able to enjoy it.
Playing through games that might just get stuck in your backlog.

With the Steam Summer Sale coming to an end, I finally decided to actually spend a bit more on this sale. One of the titles I picked up was Pretentious Game, which at first glance (and from the trailer) reminded me quite a lot of Thomas Was Alone. What followed was a somewhat emotional experience.
Battle Princess of Arcadias is a recent PSN-exclusive title that features Plume, a battle princess. The title is a side-scrolling beat-em-up action-RPG with tactical elements. Yeah, bit of a mouthful there, huh?
Ah yes… Parties are always wonderful. Welcome to world 3!
On the surface, They Breathe is an almost innocent looking indie title featuring a frog. However, as you go deeper you quickly discover it is much more than that.
World 2 time! Now that all the job decisions are out of the way it’s time to focus on the game and developing strategies that will take advantage of my Four Job Fiesta party.
Symphony is a title that appears to have gone under the radar for quite a long time, especially for fans of Rhythm games. As a fan of titles such as Beat Hazard and Audiosurf, when I first found out about this title I definitely wanted to play it.
When we last left off I had just received my Fire job, the Geomancer. Now, as someone who is fairly inexperienced at Final Fantasy V, I thought this was going to add another layer of challenge to the Four Job Fiesta for me.
I covered what Frog% is in a previous post, so I won’t go over it again here. Oh boy. I’ve been pretty lucky in past fiestas as I’ve gotten strong starting classes. Last year, I got Black Mage, and this year I got White Mage.
I’m not going to talk about what the fiesta is, because you can find out everything you need to know about it elsewhere, so I am going to operate under the assumption that you know everything you need to, and that you’ve played Final Fantasy V before. (There will be SPOILERS!)
